Most of my early childhood was spent on the sea, and this bowl is inspired by the day I swam with manta rays in French Polynesia. Its inner space is an oval, and the rim undulates like the soft wings of the rays. Formed out of English Grolleg porcelain, glazed in a durable satin mixed to industrial standards, and available in various sizes as per your request. Smaller scales (8" or narrower) are available in any house color as well as white and black.

The bowl pictured holds 8 oz of liquid with a little head room, measures 2" by 7.5" by 6.5".

I make these in various sizes and often have ones fired by the earthy woodkilns of my region. I tend to fire a large group and then select out small groups of the best that match each other. Please inquire for current images. Here is an example.
