Combining the softness of grolleg porcelain with a softness of line, this bowl holds about 100 ounces, or most of a gallon with head room.

This bowl is thrown on a wheel, its foot cut at the base, then dropped onto an oval slab of clay ready and waiting. From there, it is cut, trimmed, and its profile formed for continuity.

Oval in format but loose in expression, the lip may show as more round upon firing. The pictured examples represent variety well.
