COLORS!
I am delighted to finally offer small items of my porcelain in colored glazes. I have developed a few gentle sunset shades that complement the softness of my porcelain wares. They are available at Portland-based Fulamingo.com, who specialize in sake and Japanese snacks. There is a celadon green, a special-for-them flamingo pink, and a warm yellow, warm gray, soft green, and mauve. You can find them in person at Wellspent Market
All the work is structurally the same as my white wares: made to industrial standards for the dishwasher and oven, the kind of work you could pass on to your grand-kids… however, I cannot guarantee a perfect color match in the future, should you begin purchasing with that in mind. What I can say is that I will expand the line of these colors in the same warm tones, such that they look good together.
In Fulamingo’s collection are the following items: Medium and Tiny Shell Bowl, Toast Plate, Divot Cup, Mermaid Mug, Egg Bottle, rice bowls, and some eentsy contemplative pinch-pots made in the Covid quiet… for little treasures, or to hold the emotion of transition.
Longtime supporters of my work and well-respected in the Portland food world, Kana and Erik are wonderful. They ship nationally and deliver locally. For you locals: their pre-covid business was known as Giraffe Goods, and was found in Cargo, where you can still find their pop-up in PDX and Astoria.
If you would like a large-ish group of my work in color, please drop me a line. I enjoy commissions!
Thanks :)
