Women of Woodfire exhibit at Eutectic Gallery

Well, I’ve had a great time co-curating this show with my friends Lindsay and Brett (the owner). It’s an honor for me to be entrusted with these decisions, and I look forward to where the conversation may go from here. There is still talk of a book, and that would allow us to include so many more voices as well as stories from the makers!

These super-nice plates/ low bowls are the best of a large group from the Firing While Female at East Creek Anagama last summer. Most of the plates were a commission made for Farm Spirit Restaurant, but the chef let me keep my favorite for exhibit… thanks Aaron! hearts!
